Dropbox- Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Never email yourself a file again!

Dropbox is available for Mac, PC, iPads, tablets, Smartphones, etc.... It lets you save your files to the cloud so you can access them everywhere!
You automatically have a "Public" folder where you can put files and share them with anyone in the world! No more emailing large files!
You can share a specific folder with an individual or group of individuals!

Getting Started on iPad

  • Install the Dropbox app on your ipad
  • Launch the app
  • Go through the steps to setup an account - use district email and choose a username like rsevillaicsd
  • Install Dropbox on your laptop from www.dropbox.com
  • Login using the account info you just created on your iPad
  • Drop a file on your laptop into your Dropbox
  • Go to your iPad and launch Dropbox, the file will be there!


You can upload photos and movies into your Dropbox from your iPad

When uploading photos or movies from the iPad, you can make a new folder on the fly!

Click Upload, click +, browse to file (usually in camera roll), click upload

You can save a Docs2Go file on your iPad intop Dropbox if you have Docs2Go - a paid app. Simply create a new file in Docs2Go by clicking the +file icon in the lower right corner. After making the file, return to your local files list using Local at the bottom in Docs2Go. With the file open in Docs2Go, click the bottom left icon.

You can access your Dropbox from any computer in the world by going to dropbox.com and signing in!
You can share an entire folder with colleagues using the web version of Dropbox. Sign in at dropbox.com and click the Files tab and then Share a Folder
